All individuals aged 2 and above who agrees on the rules and terms listed in Xiamen Airlines Egret Miles Membership Guide are welcome to participate in Xiamen Airlines' Egret Miles for free. Application forms are required to be completed and submitted with personal signatures. The applicants will obtain Egret Miles membership after approval by Xiamen Airlines.

As an Egret Miles member, you can easily earn miles by flying with Xiamen Airlines or SkyTeam partner airlines or by consuming at our partners. Meanwhile, you can redeem miles for award tickets, award upgrades and exquisite products from Xiamen Airlines’ online mart, etc.

A VIP member or Junior Card holder who has taken three flights or earned 3,000 miles after admission will be sent a physical membership card by mail.

Passwords include an inquiry password and a transaction password.

Inquiry password: Used for logging in to the Egret Miles section at Xiamen Airlines’ website in which members can inquire mileage balance in their accounts, claim retroactive miles and modify contact information.

1. For members with Egret Temporary Cards, we will send you the inquiry password via SMS or e-mail after your application has been approved.

  2. For members applying through the website or by mobile App, your password will be the one you set in application.

3. If you don’t have an Egret Temporary Card, your inquiry password is the 8 digits o f your birth date and you can only inquire mileage balance in your account and claim retroactive miles with this password. If you’d like to modify contact information online, please use your transaction password to reset your inquiry password after going through identity authentication at any Xiamen Airlines’ ticketing office.

4. If you forget your inquiry password, please call Xiamen Airlines’ service hotline at 95557 and provide your ID document and mobile number to reset your password.

Transaction password: Used at ticketing offices and on the website, by which members can carry out account transactions and modify the member profile. After you have earned over 3,000 miles or 3 qualifying segments, we will mail you the Egret Card with the initial transaction password to the address you provide. You should go through identity authentication at Xiamen Airlines’ ticketing offices so as to activate the electronic account.

1. If you forget your transaction password or would like to modify or reset your transaction password please go to a Xiamen Airlines’ ticketing office with your Egret Card and original valid ID document. If you entrust someone else to make the modification, the original ID document of the designated person is also required.

 2. The first password reset is free of charge and every 100 miles will be deducted at a time for subsequent password resets.

3. All password-based operation or operation authorized by the member in the electronic account is deemed to have been conducted by the Egret Miles member himself/herself and Xiamen Airlines will bear no legal responsibility for the relevant consequences.

You can redeem miles for award tickets on both Xiamen Airlines’ flights and SkyTeam partner airlines’ flights, award upgrades and exquisite products from Xiamen Airlines’ online mart, etc.

Mileage is credited to the Egret Miles account of the traveler. It is prohibited for several members to accrue miles into one account.

Yes, you can make award ticket redemption for your family members.

For award tickets redemption at Xiamen Airlines' ticketing offices, please provide your Egret Card, transaction password and valid original ID document. If you redeem award ticket for a beneficiary or entrust another person to redeem award ticket, the original valid ID document of the beneficiary or the designated person is also required.

Members may have several Egret Cards. We will consider the account that has the most mileage as the default account. If you need to combine your miles from different accounts or you wish to change default accounts, you may inform us by sending a copy of your valid ID and Egret Card number via fax, post or email, and we will make the changes you claim after verification.

You can inquire your mileage balance or claim retroactive miles by accessing to our website at www.xiamenair.com, calling our service hotline at 95557 or contacting us via email and fax. Please include your Egret Card number on the copies of your itinerary and boarding pass in the email or fax to us. To claim miles earned from flying with SkyTeam partner airlines, please mail us the original Boarding Pass and the copy of ticket or itinerary. Such requests should be made within six (6) months after the completion of the associated flights or the consumption of our partners’ services. Any mileage from flights or transactions not claimed within the time limit will no longer be eligible.

When you earned 40,000 miles or accumulated 20 segments in one year, you will be qualified for Egret Silver Card membership. When you earned 60,000 miles or accumulated 35 segments in one year, you will be upgraded to Egret Gold Card membership.When you earned 100,000 miles or accumulated 60 segments in one year, you will be upgraded to Egret Platinum Card membership.

When you earned 150,000 miles or accumulated 90 segments in one year, you will be upgraded to Egret Diamond Card membership.

As an Egret Gold Card or Egret Silver Card member, you could enjoy extra bonus miles, priority reservation and airport standby, free class of service upgrade opportunities, ticket change or refund fee waiver, priority check-in, extra free baggage allowance, access to VIP lounge and services in flight irregularities and so on.All VIP members are eligible to brand new benefits such as qualification gift package, double extra miles for flights on birthdays, miles overdraft, etc. Diamond members can even enjoy special extra benefits such as complimentary VIP Card for one specified person, service ambassador and complimentary upgrade to First Class,etc.

You may bring a valid ID document and Egret Card to activate online services at any Xiamen Airlines’ ticketing offices. After going through online service activation, you can redeem miles, modify member profiles and update passwords at Xiamen Airlines’ official websites, 95557 or mobile App. If you entrust someone else to make the modification, the original ID document of the designated person is also required.

If your Egret Card is damaged or lost, please inform us immediately. We will provide you with a replacement card after expiration. The card number and expiry date will be the same as the old one.
